Text recognition (OCR), speech-to-text, text-to-speech and a spell-checker for Sorani Kurdish.

The problem

Global AI systems do not handle Kurdish well. They use Arabic letters in place of Kurdish ones, misread printed Kurdish text and do not recognise Kurdish speech.

What we are building

OCR for printed and scanned Kurdish documents
ASR and TTS to turn Kurdish speech into text and back
A spell-checker that fixes wrong letters such as ي and ك
